So an emergency bill came up the same time my chair broke, so in real need of an large emergency commission or high tier pledge on one of my support galleries.

One thing to note is there would be a bit of a wait time as I have a few other commissions currently to complete. I would not ask if it was not an emergency.

That's right, I have launched a Subscribestar!

Or rather, its been around for sometime but only now I'm announcing it to everyone. XD

Like Patreon and Fanbox, this will have exclusive content and overtime, all my previous works over the years. Either way you chose to support me and my art will help in a big way!

I think a Q+A would best explain the reasons why and what the best options are.

Why are you launching a Subscribestar?

Its been in the works for awhile now and just something I've not gotten back to but recently, with actions made by Patreon in the last few months and even Gumroad dropping the nuke on NSFW creators just last week, it only speeded up the process.

Like Fanbox, it will serve as an alternative to Patreon in-case anything were to happen to my gallery or you just generally if don't want to support Patreon.

What will be on the Subscribestar?

Same day content as Patreon and Fanbox. I also want to bring over Classic Content there in batches for an exclusive weekly day, as well as add more Classic Content to Fanbox.

As Patreon is cracking down on some fetishes, some art might be only posted on the Fanbox and Subscribestar.

Will content be in Zip Folders?

There will be no Zip Folders on Subscribestar, same with Fanbox.

Could change depending on factors but right now, nada folders.

Will there be Reward Tiers on Subscribestar?

A few but there will be limited as I have a bit of a backlog on Rewards on Patreon, which will be eliminated in the next month or so, bar anything happening IRL.

If you see a tier that's full, you can request me to open another slot and I'll see if its manageable.

Fanbox will see a few limited Reward Tiers added as well.

Why are the prices slightly higher on Subscribestar?

Mainly because of how Subscribestar handles payouts in that you can only withdraw a minimum of $150 each time.

I have avoided raising the price of tiers on Patreon even when times have gotten tough over the nearly 10 years the page has been around as I know its also been hard for those during the pandemic and cost of living.

If the Subscriberstar gets popular enough to cover the $150 goal every month, I will consider lowering the tiers to match the Patreon but we're just starting up the page, so it might be awhile.

Are you leaving Patreon?

No, but that's entirely up to Patreon.

Should I switch from Patreon/Fanbox?

Up to you, content will mostly be the same among the three galleries.

Patreon will be cheaper atm, but requires passwords Zip Folders to see the art/fanfics. Future on the site is a big unknown.

Fanbox has no Zip Folders and allows more fetishes, however it does require censorship of the lower regions.

Subscribestar allows much more than the two. Payments methods are a bit more limited, but at the same time its the reason many artists are in this situation.

Does Subcribestar offer access to you Discord channel?

Yes, all tiers do.

What about Deviantart Subscriptions?

That has had limited reach and features TBH and I've only kept it on as a way you can support me if you wish.

I have stated in the past if the Deviantart Subs reach a fresh hold like 10 subscribers or maybe $20-50 a month, I would resume updates there but righ now, its not viable.

So its been overdue an update. What, like nearly 2 weeks now since my dad's fall?

There's no real way to sugar coat this, but it seems there's going to be a lot of change from the aftermath from all this.

My dad is sill in the hospital, a combination of slow service, and additional problems with my dad, namely arthritis in BOTH legs now, high blood and sugar levels and quite concerning, kidney trouble.

At this point, we have no idea what the future holds even at this point. While he can walk with a walking frame a decent distance, we don't know how well he can handle stairs yet. Could be his condition, could be he barely gets much sleep since the guy next to him makes a lot of sound effecting his mental state and thus making out that things are not as bad as they are but he was been known to downplay how serious a situation is before.

Either he can walk around in the house on his own okay, or there's a chance he spends the rest of his days in a bedroom in bed and just staying there to be cared for by me ad my mother.

Which comes to the other thing. As my mom has to look after my grandmother every other day, I might have to be a part time carer for my dad.

If it comes to that, my days of late night work are over and have to be done in the daytime/early evening. Not an easy task as I'm the type of artist/writer who works best during the night. There have been days when I can't draw a thing because its either daytime or I'm needed for something which interrupts the flow of drawing/writing or I get easily distracted.

It'll be an adjustment if that's the case, but again we really don't know. It doesn't help that my dad wants to discharge himself the moment his kidneys are normal level again even though the house is far from ready for him and we don't know how well he can walk without help.

And that's how its been this week and last, helping out my mom with things to prep the house and while she goes out to look after my grandmother. All the while, getting updates if tiny about my dad. Even though I continued my jokey self when Tweeting or commenting in other places, it just helped fight the emotions I'm going through atm. Guess its true that comedy is based on misery.

Artwise, some has been done during this period but as you can imagine, pretty limited. And the updates will resume as soon as I feel this update has by seen by as many eyes as possible to know what's going on. Long story short, content going forward might slow down a fair bit while me helping out continues and the outcome of my dad's condition.

I don't want to ask this, but if anyone can help out with either a biggish art commission or even a couple of annual donation tiers to the Patreon, it would help me out a ton as funds have been nearly exhausted for the month and I'm down to nearly nothing till the next Patreon/Fanbox payouts.

My dad had a pretty bad fall on Monday.

I was the only person in the house so it was up to me to try get him on his feet again, and as you can imagine, picking up a 250 pound-ish man is no easy feat.

About 3 hours later I finally got him on the sofa, hopefully to recover enough to walk by himself.

By 9pm, nothing changed. He couldn't get up at all, so we had to call an ambulance. By midnight, he was taken to hospital in a wheelchair.

By 9pm Tuesday, he was still in the same wheelchair before they finally got him a bed to lay on.

He has an infection in his knee (He has arthritis in one leg) so he will be admitted to a ward when one becomes available. My mother is insistent on keeping him there till he can walk again.

This has been a rough 48 hours. @_@

I don't know when the next content drop is going to drop as I have to help out and there's the possibility the house has to be changed to meet his needs, but at this point we don't know if he'll be walking again or will require a walker or wheelchair for the rest of his days. Its a very unknown state right now.

I'm physically and emotionally exhausted.

Long time no see DA Watchers!

My apologies for the long silence on this page, the last several months have been a little rough mentally and been mostly juggling the Patreon and Fanbox, but I have been feeling better now.

As with previous years, there will be Xmas Day Uploads this year but as I did before, I'm hoping to post more previews again as well as the odd content drop. As usual, you can see a lot of this first and exclusive stuff over on the Patreon or Fanbox.

On the subject of subscription galleries, I should address the DA Subs.

I've been treating those more as a tipping jar for the time being as its not exactly attracted much custom to support uploading content there, not yet anyway.

If we get to at least 10 subscribers on that platform, I will start posting content there the same time as Patreon and Fanbox. In the meantime, if you are currently subscribed there, I'll let you pick one artwork from my Patreon/Fanbox to make available once per month on the DA Subs in return. Just send me a message if you wanna see something on there.

Hoping to have a little announcement this month if I find time but as always, Xmas is a really, really busy time so we'll see.
